I love tights! They keep me warm. Also, Mary Janes. They keep my feet from slipping out of shoes. And shortaloons (sort of like pantaloons, but shorts). I find it ironic that people tell me it's warmer and safer to bike in jeans/pants. Although I do when it suits me, it's quite frankly even more convenient to forego pant legs altogether!

I'm wearing jeans now, but not because their comfortable when cycling! Hello binding legs and bulky seams.

Mostly I'm wearing jeans because I can't wear anything as cute as you're wearing when I come to work. Some days it's a blessing. Others I feel slobby. Seeing the darling photos of you, this is one of the latter.

Great look!

charlotte,

Thank you for thinking my outfit darling:) I've got the work the 5 ft tall thing somehow. In the winter I'm totally in jeans a lot, which are super wind proof. But underneath I usually have leggings or tights on too because it's so COLD!

The pro about working at a little music school teaching kids and being "artsy" is that I can pretty much wear whatever I want so long as I don't go in looking like a street walker:)

I'll make sure to get pictures of me wearing plain old jeans and t-shirt too.

S*!

1. you are TOO cute for words.

2. I love reading your blog and wish we were not separated by a vast amount of country wide and long ( Boston MA here)

3. But even if you were the cutest- I'm fasinated b/c my IL's hail from Edmonton and it cracks me up to see Edmonton in a very different light. ( husbands paternal grandmother is there.)

4. I've been biking in skirts and shorts all summer. Now it's jeans weather and ( I'm new to this whole bike thing) I don't have a clip or anything for my pants and don't want one and well, I find biking in wide legged pants distracting ( but being a girl with much Back, I'd be dead before I wear skinny jeans). So I agree with your last statement.
