A few weeks ago I was at high tea for a new friend's birthday. Well, I was abhorrently late for high tea. I had written it for noon in my calendar when in fact it was 11 am. I'd love to blame it on baby brain but that would be unfair to Dexter. Way to make a good impression on said new friend, Miss Sarah!
I had the pleasure of meeting some other girls who are excited about bikes. This is Suzie, a girl who used to bike to and from the school she was teaching at in Melbourne. She and her partner have recently moved back to Edmonton (welcome back, lost sons and daughters of Edmonton) and she's going to try and avoid buying a car. Fantastic!
After tea I brought the Pashley about. I had ridden it there dressed all nice but didn't take any pictures because I was so distracted and mortified at my tardiness. Anyway, Suzie gave it a spin and was full of glee at the prospect of such a bike. I believe she commented, "If I have a bike like this, the kids won't always ask why I don't have a car!"

Oh Suzie, Pashley makes me feel the same way!
There are a lot of exclamations in this post. Bikes do that to me.
!!! Pashley !!!
