I think I can say "I win!" when it comes to battling the elements this fine Thursday.
Woke up this morning and there was snow. Quite a bit of it.
When Don got home from his morning engagements, we took the whole family out to enjoy the snow together with a walk at the park.

Dexter is wearing a wonderful knitted hat that one of Don's colleagues' mom made. It has a matching sweater that he is too small for, but I love it - so thoughtful! And Dexter's fleecy going out outfit was from a friend. Thanks Connie! Talk about a well-timed gift.

We've got baby D strapped into his baby trekker, and I love how it comes with this drool catching cloth. Then I can just wash the one piece instead of the whole contraption.

Here's one of Dougal's dog park friends, Joey.

And Dougal, being a good member of the pack and turning around to see where we are.

Trying to keep my eyes open while snow is flying into my face. I wore leather gloves. But note to self to wear both my puffy down vest and mitts next time! Every winter it's like learning how to dress for warmth all over again.

The boys taking a nap after getting home. Is it just me, or are they so cute?
Proceed with validation.

Wow, you already have snow! I envy you!
Bundled up babies! I love it. It was 80 here today. Looks like a fun afternoon. And yes, very cute! :)
a-HA! And you had just been saying that "it isn't that cold" in Alberta! Snow in the first week of October - awesome! And I must say, Dexter's cheeks are admirable.
Definitely cute. All this pic needs in Dougal!

That's one picture (father and son) that you should keep safe and in good shape. It'll be precious memories for everyone involved as the years pass. And all the pictures, really. Family photos possess the ability to transform the most innocuous moments into treasured moments.
Man, you only went out in a hoodie!?!? It was COLD! I'm pulling a Dad and I'm gonna say "lang say lei ah!"
I like how baby d looks like a bear.
Ohhhh, I love the ears on Dexter's hood. Can't say that I am quite ready for snow...
Super cute! I can't believe you're getting snow already. Snow is predicted for Chicago on Monday, but no accumulation. At least you get the excitement of another first for Dexter :)
