I did a bike-train combo today. I was running late and the train is so very fast for getting downtown. Plus, riding the bike for me is mostly about having fun. When there is fresh snow it's certainly possible to ride, I just don't think a half hour with sleet continually being splattered in my face is preferable to sitting on the new train and playing with Twitter.
So I did my new favourite thing. Rode to the platform in mere minutes, locked up, caught the train, and was on time for lunch. Winning all around.

This year's new winter boots. They're so warm, I don't even need to wear socks. Not yet.
My purse wouldn't be fully "Miss Sarah" without something whimsical on it. Here is the little doll that is living on my hand bag.
Indoors, without the outside layers on. Yes, I am one of those people who wears a pair of jeans several times before I wash them. My mom taught me to wash my clothes when they're dirty. The jeans aren't dirty yet so in my book they're kosher. Cozy t-shirt. Cardigan.
When I was picking up around the house I found this little cap that a student's mom brought for Dexter. It's still too big for the baby, but looks pretty good on you-know-who.

Dougal is sooo cute! :D and I love your boots! May I ask where they're from? I am in need on new winter boots too, as I plan to cycle this winter with Pashley (my first winter with her!!) :)

So many thoughts...
First, Dougal is too cute. I love how dejected he looks when you dress him up.
Second, SNOW! You are not kidding about that snow. That's serious. Do you think it will melt and you'll have some fall foliage, or is it there to stay?
Third, I love those boots. None of my cute boots are warm enough for the winter; I have to wear my ugly, utilitarian boots on the bike and carry cute shoes in my basket. The key difference in my boots is shearling lining, so maybe I should look for cute boots with lining.
Fourth, I'm with you on the jeans-washing.

Btw, you got a lot of snow already! We had snow for the first time in Austria today and I'm quite looking forward to more. Unfortunately didn't stay, it's all just very wet now :(.
