I love Christmas holidays. Yeah yeah, so cliché with all the commercialism and forced "being nice" to people. Some people are so humbug. These are the same people who grudge about the holidays but when they get an invitation to a party at the bungalow? I see them. Enjoying a drink and having a chat. And when it's home time it's always these people who are the last people to leave. So scrooges, talk all you want but I know you would love a Miss Sarah Christmas!
I love the food. The lights. And the visiting with people.
And Christmas trees! Mine is a medium-small artificial tree that I've had since I moved out. There is no theme on the tree other than the ornaments all being gifts from my students over the years.
This one is a snow globe.

Shiny.

LEGO santa from when Don was small.

Hello Kitty.

And a tandem bicycle!

Oh I lovethe tandem bicycle ornament!!
I want, I want!
Over the years we have gravitated to using wooden ornaments and shiny things around the house that can be creatively used as ornaments, because it's just so sad when the glass ornaments break. Bead necklaces and small antique knickknacks work well. Oh, and candy wrapped in foil - though I am tempted to eat it off the tree.
Warm and happy Christmas trees - my favorite part of the season. Great lego Santa ornament :)
Bruce,Isaac and I went to the gym this evening and your Don sauntered in ! He seems like a fine fellow :) Merry Christmas!
Oooo, love the tandem ornament! Wondering where you found it.
Fil and Christa - Not sure where the ornament came from, but it was a gift from a student. I think I'd remember buying it.
Judith - Was Don doing his super lunges? He's very proud of how low he can go:)
Dottie - I love the tree too, so twinkly. The santa ornament is from something like a happy meal or something like that, back in the day.
