Pincer Grasp.

Dexter has been hitting all his developmental milestones with ease. Nope, I'm not going to be the mom that says he did everything sooner or faster than everybody else. In fact, I think he took longer to learn to sit up on his own than the other babies I've seen. He is now learning to grab the low hanging furniture (coffee tables, ottoman, couch) and pull himself into a standing position. It's pretty cute, but his radius of danger is ever expanding as evidenced here.

Doughnuts, watch out!

He's learning how to manipulate cheerios with his thumb and forefinger too. Usually it results in cereal all over the floor but that's what Dougal is for.

At least he picked a doughnut that I liked before grabbing and destroying the hull of it. I've discovered that it's one of those mom things. You have to eat the one that your kid messed up... so I hope Dexter continues to have an adventurous palate.

mmm donuts, did baby d grab a classic glazed donut?

I'm just glad I didn't get sick from him. He kept on sneezing and coughing on me the past few days.

See you Sat!

Mmmmmm, donuts! Do I spot a Canada donut from Timmy's? Looking forward to more "firsts" from Dexter!! Now that he's pulling himself up there are many more dimensions to baby-sitting,haha.
