Post Party.

I already wrote about how fun the redbike party was this past weekend, but what I didn't qualify was why I was dressed up. Sure, I usually dress up for a party, but I was a little on the fancy side for a bike party. Don and I had another event to attend afterwards. That explains the suit and stuff.

Before we left, Raffaella helped me out by snapping some photos with my camera.

These shoes are so old. I remember years ago (I think they are 5 years old) I thought I was splurging too much on them, but they have been my faithful pumps for such a long time now. Absolutely worth the investment.

I am so relieved this bubble skirt fits again. It's really ideal for bike riding. Not too long, not too short. Sort of weighted because of the gathers in the fabric, which prevents it from flying up and revealing my panties to unsuspecting public.

Ding dong bell.

I wish I had this saddle with me in NY.

Don is much taller than me.

Every now and then I have to take a photo like I am a Japanese school girl. Giggle!

Don has recently purchased a pannier that is wonderful. It clips on and off of the rear rack in no time, and it's firm so his computer doesn't get damaged. It's also perfect for him to stuff a suit jacket into, or his helmet when he's inside. We just kept it under our chairs at the event.

The DJ at the event had song request forms at each table. I love me some Lady GaGa.

again- I wish I got to live in your shoes ( literally although I maybe in your shoes I could actually walk in them well too). I need events to go to.

Luckily I do have one coming up in May. My goal is to go to more events. and dress up like Miss Sarah more.

Hi Sarah, you look lovely as always. I finally bought myself a Pashley last month and while I'm enjoying her immensely, the only thing I feel I need to replace right away are the grips on the handlebars. They make my hands sweat. I didn't have this issue with my Electra Townie's grips. I just mentioned it because I noticed the close up photo of your handlebars and wonder if you'd experienced this too.

Mama - Having lots of things to go to is fun, but the social calendar is easy to fill up when such things bridge on "work" too. So you can also say Don and I work a lot:)

Dag - I haven't replaced my handlebars, those are original. I'm not having any real issues with them, but I bet some cork grips would feel amazing.

I changed the basket on my Pashley. The original pashley basket sucks.

Missable - Which one was your friend? I was in Pod B. There were two pods.

Judy - Thanks! I'll have to post some of those pictures you sent along. I really like the one with Don and I and the pizza.

Love these pictures and the ones on the post of you doubling on the bike and having fun! Unfortunately it wasn't a windy day; then perhaps it would have been a more whimsical and revealing day for "the unsuspecting public". I am sure there would have been no complaints - you look great as always!
