These are all pretty self explanatory. The white house is very pretty and there are secret service police everywhere. I like the guy who walks back and forth on the roof. These first two photos are of the south lawn. The view back here had a vast lawn and beautiful blooms.

We were lucky to be in WAS during the cherry blossom festival. It afforded us many picturesque photo opportunities, not that we needed more excuses to snap and shoot.

Golden eagles on the gate.

I like to think that Chris is scolding me about due process or some kind of protocol (this was not actually the case).

I am, of course, my own woman and don't need to be told what to do.

The front.

Golden statue thing in the back somewhere.

More blossoms!

He looked taller on TV!

I was about to say, I thought he was taller!
I see all kinds of blooms, but no cherry blossoms. :(
Beautiful photos! You're so lucky to be there during cherry blossom season. I spent a summer in DC interning during law school. My visit to the White House was during the Bush administration, so a much different tone. I need to go back and visit now :)
Gorgeous pictures of the blooming trees!
