I first met Alexa (Lexy) via email when she wrote to me about bike racks on buses. She heralds from St.Albert, and was wondering what steps she could take to get their transit authority to get said racks on said buses. I don't think I was much help, but at the very least I was happy to be in touch with a blog reader and fellow girl cyclist.
She came to the redbike party!
I didn't even know it was her when I started photographing. I just saw this red head with style all her own and started clicking away.
She wore red campers.

And a cool skirt.

And a dinosaur necklace!

Her entourage was quite entertaining too.
AND since that initial email, this girl has gotten those bike racks on St. Albert buses!

Rad.

Lexy is pretty awesome, it's true.
Thank you for the lovely post dedicated to my bicycle advocacy and fashion!
Guess what? I landed the best gig - I'm now the project coordinator for Edmonton Bicycle Commuters. Let's stay in touch and brainstorm ways to make this city green... and fast!
Lexy - Congrats on the job! I saw the posting. It's right up your alley:)
S*!
