I scream, you scream, we all scream for Brooks Saddles!
At the redbike party I met this man with the most well-loved, well-worn saddle I've ever seen.
Imagine the comfort!
Especially after my bad New York bike rental experience, I now realize a good saddle couldn't be more important.

Been reading your blog for awhile now, and have to say I really enjoy it and the pictures you post. I've a new Brookes saddle on my new commuter, and still in the process of breaking it in, which I'm told is well worth it. It'll have to be, because it's the single most expensive component of my ride. Keep the posts coming.
welsh - Thanks for reading! I've been wearing my brooks saddle for a few years but it's nowhere near as beautiful as the one I saw at the party.
I am also super-happy to get back on one of my Brooks saddles after riding a bike with a vinyl plushy monstrosity!
Luscious! I, too, have a love affair with Brooks.
I've just put a Brooks on a second bike, and just love it. As for the "breaking in" comment, my new Brooks is so comfy already, that I can't imagine it better, but everybody is different.
