The weather is starting to actually resemble spring! Bring on the bare feet and lack of tights and stockings. Bring on sunsets at 8 pm. Bring on evenings having prosecco on the little patio at Da Capo!

I call this my tuxedo dress. Obviously, because it looks like a little Miss Sarah version of a tuxedo.

I wear these repettos so much that they basically feel like I'm not wearing shoes at all.

The aforementioned prosecco on the aforementioned patio.

Let's not forget about gelato. Da Capo is known for three things. Delicious coffee. Tasty pizza. And amazing gelato. It's the best I've had in the city. As the weather gets warmer I can be found there all the time.

Today I had Fiore di Latte.

Obviously other people had the same idea as me and Chelsea.

DaCapo is very welcoming to cyclists. These road bike guys go for rides all the time and come back for fuel. They bring their bikes into the place for safekeeping.

On the ride home. Purse in the basket as usual.

We Edmontonians go a little crazy about warm weather. We suffer immensely from cabin fever. When the sun is out and you can't see your breath in the air every time you exhale, you know you are amidst happy times.

I actually consume a pint of gelato a week so I try to ride to the store and back to offset that. Last night I realized I was out and I just couldn't fathom watching trashy tv (the Hills if you must know) without some pistachio gelato and coconut and lime ice cream. That was dinner!
P.S. I love your Repettos. The Bay in Toronto is now carrying but I've yet to try a pair. I envy those of you who can wear shoes which have short toeboxes.
dag - They're really really great, but fit small. I'm usually a size 5 but my repettos are 5.5 or 6 I think. And my toe boxes might be small but years of wearing heels have slowly made the balls of my feet really wide. The plus here is that heels are actually quite comfortable for me!
How much do I love an establishment that understands that bikes can be uber expensive and let you bring them in for safekeeping. We went to a donair place once, my boyfriend on his pricy downhill mountain bike and they wouldn't let him bring it in even though the place was empty with tons of space. Their perogative, but we've never been back.
Mmmm,gelato....love their pistachio and caffe flavours.
