Watermelon Zombie.

We discovered last night that Dexter heartily enjoys watermelon. He was devouring the stuff like a zombie on brains. Little man couldn't even keep a shirt on.

SLURP.

RAWR.

Marilyn rode her bike over after I was done work to partake in the mac n' cheese I had in the oven.

She is thoroughly enjoying life with the Brompton. She even put a travel cake dome in the handlebar bag.

Cardamon vanilla cake survived the journey.

Not that it would have been a big deal if it hadn't. It probably would have been just as tasty as a deconstructed cake.

I ate two pieces.

With all these spring activities also come the spring dresses and outfits. I was too pregnant and post pregnant to wear this dress last year. When I first saw it in the store window years ago I didn't have my glasses on and thought the pattern was giant strawberries. Turns out they're just clusters of flowers, but that's okay too.

Initial sightings around town indicate to me that there are TONS of cyclists out this season. A notable increase from last spring. And a significant increase in the "normal" people category. That means more people for me to stalk. Looking forward to seeing you out there!

Oh, I was just flipping through the photos Raffaella gave me from NY and here the dress is again, in Soho.

It's kind of awesome working from home and overlooking the bike path. I see sooooo many cyclists passing by all day long.

Dexter better not sit on Uncle Chris' couch with his shirt off. You know how he gets. (hah hah)

I love Marilyn's Brompton!

How did Marilyn's cake survive in the travel case? That's pretty cool.

There are a lot more "normal people" out in Boston this spring compared to last as well, a very noticeable difference!

Brompton... Must not covet it!

Fella - I'm jealous you get to hear the regular ding ding from the street car.

M and G - Apparently watermelon is a super super healthy food too.

Dottie - Yeah, the Brompton is such a fancy foldy, but I'm still happy with the dahon for those foldy occasions. I have the luxury of a garage so I can store all my bikes. Meaning, I prefer having a full sized loop frame:)

Judy - I have no idea. I think the cake just slid down to the end and didn't break in half?

Velouria - Coveting bikes is like coveting shoes. It seems like you can never have too many...

Ffion - Thanks! Watermelon is such an indicator of good weather. I'm glad you like the posts, keep coming back!
