Monday meant brunch with our excellent and wonderful friend, Dan. His last name is Kaszor. I call him "The Kasz".
Snapped some pictures of riding ladies. I think this next one looks a little like Dottie from Let's Go Ride a Bike.

Bryce didn't have to work until later, so he and Brian came too.

Afterwards we disbanded and walked to downtown.
Here is the crazy ROM.

After some shopping we had to have a rest. Found a little park in Yorkville. Fed Dexter some snacks and some squash.

He is also learning to feed himself.

CHOMP.

Then we hopped on the subway all the way to Finch station. Met my cousin and hung out at his house for a while. This is Dexter's cousin, Alexis!

Afterwards we went back down into the subway.

Took the train back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.

Wore a new orange dress.

I love how nostalgic this dress looks. It has a weird fit up top (requires pulling down in order to prevent puffing up), but the nostalgia factor makes up for it.

Love the pleats.

The Rex has had the greatest jazz blasting out of it every time we walked by. My friend Rosie is visiting Toronto currently and I believe she and her husband are staying at the hotel above the jazz club. Party!

Dinner was with Matt, at Queen Mother. Pad thai-like noodles, Al fresco!

Every time we mentioned we had to ride up to Finch to see my cousin, a friend of ours would wrinkle up their nose. So far away! The beauty of the subway, however, is even if you have to ride it further out than you think is "close" you still have the ability to zip across town and back in time to do all the things on your schedule. It might not be as convenient as only having to walk 6 blocks in any given direction, but at least there is the option of going out some place far without having to get in a car.

I was going to say the same thing - love the pleats! And the orange. And my doppelganger :)
