A Carnival.

I think it's becoming increasingly clear that I am in love with the ferris wheel.

I went back to the Capital Ex last night to get some more information on Softubs, watch a portion of a Bamix demonstration, and take some evening photos of the carnival. I have a whole other lot of photos, but I wanted to post these antique-y ones separately.

Like these bees.

The mini doughnuts. We got two bags for $5. Exceptional value!

More views while riding the wheel.

My other favourite ride, the swings.

Carnival games.

Ring toss.

Doughnut service station.

Carousel lights.

I just realized all the rides I like are ones that go around in circles. I wonder what this says about me?

We have an old amusement park here that I adore. It's more carnival-like than amusement park-like I love all rides except the ferris wheel. Not sure why. I've just long held this irrational fear of them. I'll go on everything else and I adore big, crazy roller coasters that do things which defy physics, but just keep me away from the FW. LOL!

What is increasingly clear is that you live in a GREAT city. Your blog is the best advertisement for Edmonton. Would so love to visit to ride and eat and hang with you there!

I just keep photographing the ferris wheel. I think because it's so monolithic and moves very slowly:) Riding it is a bit scary, but less so if you're looking at stuff through a viewfinder:)

sara - That is such a great compliment. I would love to cargo-ride with you and yours too! Maybe one day...
