Friends meet again this week at the city market!
We got our breakfast waffles from the Eva Sweet truck, but something was wrong. It wasn't the same truck. And instead of getting your waffle hot off the grill they were sitting inside (albeit a very nice) case. Mine was still tasty, but not nearly as delicious as usual.
We did our weekly shopping.
And had our customary Credo coffees.
Dexter loves to dig in my purse.
And climb up on chairs.
Then we went to a baby shower. My best friend from grade one has recently moved back to Edmonton and is also expecting twin girls! Super exciting.
There was this game where they had to pretend the watermelons were the twins.
Before it started, Dexter used the watermelons to practice standing up.
He seems to enjoy playing with watermelons just as much as he enjoys eating them.
I know I am biased because he is my own kid, but I find Dexter so super cute!

I love the expression on that dog's face- not quite sure of this whole thing...

Watermelons seem like precarious things to use to practice standing up- too rolly and tippy. But he looks very pleased with them!
Ilona - Could be? I didn't meet the owner, just stalked them:)
cycler - The dogs are one of my favourite things about the market. They're hilarious.
The melons were really heavy and for the most part were resting on their watermelon "bum". It was mostly super sad when we had to take them away for the games.
