Farewell, City Market.

Don't get me wrong, the City Market is going to be open every Saturday until Thanksgiving weekend! It's just time for me to say farewell because I start teaching on Saturdays starting next week. No more morning waffles. No more mid-market Credo coffee runs.

Sigh.

Goodbye to meeting up with friends arriving on bike and by foot.

Goodbye to all the vendors and their various treats.

Goodbye to all the cute dogs.

Speaking of which, there was a crazy population of golden retrievers this week.

So friendly.

Goodbye to all the artsy/crafty people selling their jewelry, various wares, and fashions.

This week I was super tempted to get a few items from fridget.

These cardigan/jacket things were really eye catching. On the hanger they looked okay, but when I put one on I was really surprised by how much structure they had. Probably due to the fancy patches on the shoulders and on the back. It was super comfortable too, and the seams hit in all the right places.

I didn't get it because I'm on a bit of a fashion hiatus for now and am trying not to buy anything new until I go through my closet and assess the situation. Need to do inventory and purging.

Still, I'm keeping this item on my radar.

It's just a matter of days until I'm teaching again. Students will be descending on the bungalow once more, time with friends will all have to be scheduled and organized, and I'll miss these days of being a woman of leisure.

Goodbye summer. You were very good to me.

Oh no, that's too bad that you have to work and won't be able to go to the market! You'll have to send someone to at least pick up goodies for you - haha! Although, that's definitely not the same as being able to go yourself. Those golden retrievers sure are cute :)

Traci - I mostly feel bad for little Dexter. He's used to going to the market and seeing all his aunties!

Smiley - I haven't actually TRIED them yet... except now I'm sort of dying to. Will send out a scout to score me some.
