My early student is out of town for the next little while, which means I don't start work until much later in the afternoon. It's glorious. That means there is time for super leisurely fall shopping and lunch with ladies, all via bike and transit!
Rode the Dahon up to the station, locked it to the nearest poll, and jumped on the train to Churchill station.
After some fruitful browsing, it was time to tuck in for a lunch at Zenari's in manulife place.

Lisa.

Lattés.

Fella.

Cake.

Moi.

After lunch we went to Artworks.

They have bouquets on display outside.

And other indoor arrangements.

The shop's dog slept in the window.

Their window currently features lots of colourful yarn and various store-treats.

Then my green tights and I went home.

There was a plethora of boots, coats and winter hats on display today. Many pretty things, but they reminded me of the dark and cold times to come. That's why leisurely afternoons like this are such a treat. In a few months, cruising up the street with crunchy autumn leaves under-wheel will be a distant memory. Weep!

happy green tights! :)
They're a little crazy in the photo, but I like loud sometimes.
