Here is the little LEGO snow man that came in Don's LEGO advent calendar. So perfect for him, right? It was a very thoughtful gift on behalf of some students and their parents. Thank you!
It also got me thinking about what I wrote in my last post about loving how Christmas season is basically a condensed version of all the wonderful things in life that I enjoy.
I've decided to do an advent version of Girls and Bicycles for the month of December. Both so you can see the daily treats offered by the LEGO advent and also, to post about something lovely every day.
Today I present an expedition via LRT.

I walked to the train. Took it two stops. Walked to physio. Finished my appointment and walked back to the train. Took it to Churchill station. Met Lisa for some Christmas shopping. Then walked over to city hall to meet with Don.
The city room has pretty decorations up!

Fella was waiting with me on the stairs. We were both wearing very cold-weather walk-friendly boots today.

And Don was able to join us! All that misty stuff around his coat? That's cold-weather evidence that he is breathing.

Same goes here.

Then we walked over to Century Palace for some dim sum.

Egg tarts are a favourite of mine. One of those things I always order.

And some mango jello. Why not?

And this is my Chinese zodiac, I was born in the year of the monkey! I've always been very proud to be a monkey and feel as though the descriptions on these place mats (or anywhere) are extremely apt in my case. Everything except the bit about being too agreeable at times. I am often very disagreeable, ask somebody who knows!
And my anger leaving quickly? Well... that depends on how quickly I get a sincere apology.

And just in case you're curious, Don is a sheep.
I'm not entirely convinced that his zodiac description is as accurate as mine.
