I got busy yesterday and didn't have time to post, so today I present you two days worth of advent: Cozy hearth and a sled containing fire wood! The axe was part of the wood set, so I reused LEGO Simon from the 10th to create a little scene.
Things are getting pretty festive over here. I've sent out Christmas cards, started receiving gifts from students, and have started creating treats for friends.
Christmas wrapping paper is so cheerful.

And of course I've put up the tree! I have a lot of music-themed ornaments because of all the gifts from students over the years.

Some of my favourite ornaments are the tiny ones.

Like the dove (above) and this delicate star (below).

The one looks like a little glass window when you position a light behind it.

Angel!

I believe I photographed this LEGO Santa last year, but good things bear repeating.

Ditto with the tandem bike!

This little "wish" pocket was a gift card holder, but I decided to keep it as an ornament for the tree instead of throwing it in the garbage.

Hope you're having a lovely Sunday! I currently have Dexter in my lap and the bungalow smells like the BBQ pulled pork I am making for dinner. Also, the most wonderful students/neighbours just dropped by a few hours ago with Christmas sugar cookies!
I'm all set.
