Oh my, it's that time of year again. So many parties! Don't get me wrong. I love myself a party. It's just that all this stuff always lands around budget time for Don. In addition to the extra work hours, we have a whole bunch of boring house stuff to do. And on top of it all, Don and I are both sick.
But, we're working away and hopefully that will mean more rest... next week?
In any case, even when tired and sick, it's still nice to celebrate a birthday that features Reese Peanut Butter Cupcakes! Luckily, my taste buds are still alive and working.

Chris' birthday was casual and fun. I found myself a nice spot on the couch and admired the rest of the apartment from there. It's the opposite of circulating, but it works!

After a while, it was time to head over to red star to drop in on a Next Gen Party. It was semi-work related for Don.

For a bunch of us, we just needed some supper!

Hey, Thomas!

Dan stole my camera, which meant I got to see surprise photos of myself when I did my import today. The blue light illuminating my face is from my phone.

See?

That's my new necklace from Kiko.

And here is Alex and his bow tie.

There was a third party too, but by that point I was so tired that my camera stayed in the bag. It was a nice Christmas-y affair where Don sampled a bit of scotch and I somehow missed out on some epic samosas:(
In any case, t'is definitely the season for being overworked and over-scheduled. But, each day we're getting closer and closer to house projects wrapping up and I am super duper looking forward to the parties that we're hosting here at the bungalow!
Is Christmas time crazy for you guys too?
