Oh my, there has been a lapse in blogging!
Right after new years I ran away to Cuba for a week so I've been MIA in general, but it's definitely time to get back in the saddle. I'll have more pictures of vacation in a few days, where my eco-friendly form of transit came in the form of a sail boat. Ironically, there are no pictures of the sail boat since the small contraption we were sailing was no place for a regular camera.
Let's rewind, however, to new years eve!

We had a small and leisurely dinner with a few friends.
Dexter and Leanne iced a cake together.

Then we got to work on some gougeres.

Dexter initiated a dance party.

More snacks came out of the kitchen, in the form of asparagus and mushroom crostini with quail eggs.

Sable showed up.

And Crystal too.

And now from the UK, Charlie and Emma.

After a soup and salad, I delegated a team to do ravioli.

From scratch.

There was milling about and lots cell phone new years wishes.

And of course, lots of chatting about what was notable in 2011 and what we're looking forward to in 2012.

Happy New Year!
