Edmonton being Edmonton, of course there was a patio party on the evening where the temperatures went to -24C/11F with 100% humidity.
It. Was. COLD.

But people were troopers! Big fur hats. Hot cider. Dancing draped with fleecy blankets. Huddling under a heat lamp. Long johns underneath jeans. Snowboarding boots and 7 layers at the bar... anything goes when you're hell bent on staying warm.

Sable in her current winter get-up.

Jim & Anixa. This fabulous woman spotted me for my cider since I had previously given away all my cash at the SNAP party.

When more than 6 of my fingers and toes were feeling frozen, we retreated inside where we ran into old friends and new.

On such a cold night, there sure was a lot of drinks and dancing, both with and without winter coats!
