Here are a few snapshots of last weekend's getaway in the rockies!
It was still cold for me, though Dexter insisted on wearing shorts and riding the push bike.
Lake still had a layer of ice on it.
Baby Alice sat on her first dead grass and didn't really feel like moving around that much.
Keziah came equipped with a balloon for entertainment.
Emmet wanted his own turn on the bike.
Always people holding my babies.
A few of the nights we built fires in the room.
And put my beautiful Laguiole pocket knife to work - it was my birthday gift from Don last year and I LOVE IT.
Kate, from the library board, knit a library-coloured hat for baby Alice!
Dexter likes wearing it too.
We were very lucky to have a room with a view
Dexter looks dapper.
Baby Alice wants to know what's for dinner.
Edmonton Public Library is 100 years old!
Then, when parents are out enjoying themselves, babies sleep in strollers.
Preschoolers sleep in dad's lap.
Finally, on the last day, time to go up the gondola before heading home!
Don & Dexter, true men of winter.
And that's a wrap on a mountain-y weekend!
